What’s involved?
We need people to fill every kind of role you can imagine (registration, course marking, marshalling and event village staff). For other set up and take down days we will confirm if you are required closer to the dates. If we haven’t been in contact at least a week prior to the dates you’ve signed up for don’t hesitate to chase us up.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
What’s the deal?
Volunteers need to be at least sixteen years of age. You’ll need to be available to volunteer for at least half a day to qualify for the £35 payment. Event volunteers are usually required to start at around 8am and finish will depend on what volunteer role you are allocated. If you’re volunteering outside, marshalling or course marking for example, you’ll need lots of warm clothes and everything you need to be comfortable, dry and warm for a whole day outside.
What now?
Keen? Awesome! Sign up here or drop us a line at volunteers@tweedlove.com for more information! It’s a lot of fun (honest) and you’ll have our team’s eternal thanks!
Who’s making it happen?
Our Volunteer & Crew Coordinator Sarah Birks will be dedicating all her time at Hillside Outside to all things volunteers and she’s more than happy for you to get in touch with any questions etc.
We’re also really excited to announce that Cullen Kilshaw are our official Tweed Valley Crew Partners this year. Their supports means new T-shirts, great lunches and much more!
