This year we’re following 3 riders with very different Touro ambitions and reasons for taking on the challenge.

So. 9 Big Sleeps to go…and during the best summer we’ve had in Scotland in a while, I’ve managed to nail ‘no wetsuit’ swimming.

When you ride with a group you not only have a responsibility of keeping yourself safe but also that of your group. Not used to riding in a group?

Either way, they are difficult to avoid when you are out on the road and lets face it the Touro route has a few of them.

So, since my last post I’ve actually managed to do some bike riding, which I’m pretty pleased about. And I’ve sussed out what I think might help me along the way…. 

Well, I guess you can always pop on your turbo trainer for an alternative session, but as I said last week, you just cannot replace riding outdoors.
